The flange, which is 11 - gauge (3) thick, is heliarc welded to the tubing with a continuous concealed bead. Each flange comes with three tamper - resistant 1/4 - 28 stainless steel hex socket set screws. The mounting tenon plates are made of case - hardened cadmium - plated 13 - gauge (2.3) steel. It belongs to the 3000 series with a 1 - inch diameter and 30 - inch length exposed flange.
Using this grab bar is easy. Just install it securely on the wall using the provided tamper - resistant set screws and mounting tenon plates. When using, hold it firmly to ensure stability. For maintenance, wipe it with a soft cloth regularly to keep it clean. Avoid using abrasive cleaners as they may damage the smooth surface. Also, check the screws periodically to make sure they are tight.
