These wall anchors are ideal for surface - mounting grab bars with snap flange mounting, like ASI series 3700 and 3800 grab bars, on finished solid concrete walls. They come as 1/4 - 20 x 2 - inch long machine screws with matching lead expansion shields. Each anchor kit includes two machine screws and their corresponding expansion shields. One kit is needed per flange.
To use these ASI 3930 machine screws with expansion shields, first drill a hole in the solid concrete wall. Insert the lead expansion shield into the hole. Then, screw the 3 - 1/2 pan - head machine screw into the shield. This will securely mount your grab bar with snap flange mounting. Remember, use one kit for each flange. For maintenance, periodically check the screws for tightness. If they seem loose, gently tighten them with a suitable screwdriver. Avoid using excessive force as it might damage the expansion shield or the wall.
