This 18-inch grab bar, also serving as a towel bar, is crafted from high-quality 304 stainless steel alloy 18-8. The tubing has a 1-inch diameter (Ø25) and is 18 gauge (1.2) thick. The flanges, welded to the tubing with a continuous concealed bead, are 11 gauge (3) thick. Each flange comes with three tamper-resistant 1/4-28 stainless steel hex socket set screws. The mounting tenon plates are made of case-hardened cadmium-plated 13 gauge (2.3) steel. It belongs to the 3000 series with an exposed flange and 1-inch diameter tubing of 18 inches.
Using this grab bar is easy. Simply mount it on a stable surface using the provided set screws. It can be used as a grab bar for support or as a towel bar to hang towels.
