ASI 3401-42P (42 x 1.25) Commercial Grab Bar, 1-1/4 Diameter x 42 Length, Exposed-Mounted, Stainless Steel (Peened)

The ASI 3401-42P is a commercial-grade straight grab bar. Measuring 1-1/4 inches in diameter and 42 inches long, it features a peened, nonslip surface for a secure grip. Crafted from 18-gauge stainless steel tubing, it has an appealing satin finish that resists fingerprints while maintaining an attractive shine. At each end, there's a 3-inch diameter flange made of type-304 stainless steel, herliarc welded to the tubing. Each flange has three 7/32-inch diameter countersunk, predrilled holes, spaced about 120 degrees apart, for No. 10 self-tapping or oval head mounting screws (not included). After installation, the mounting hardware is fully exposed. This grab bar meets or exceeds all ADA requirements.

Using this grab bar is easy. First, find a suitable location on a wall. Then, use the predrilled holes in the flanges to attach the bar with the appropriate screws (not included). Make sure to install it securely. When using the grab bar, hold it firmly for support. Avoid hanging excessive weight on it. To maintain the grab bar, clean it regularly with a mild soap and water solution. This will keep the satin finish looking great and help prevent dirt buildup. Also, check the screws periodically to ensure they are tight.
