The ASI 3501-48P is a great straight grab bar with a 1-1/2-inch diameter and 48-inch length. It has a peened, nonslip surface for a secure grip. Crafted from 18-gauge stainless steel tubing with a lovely satin finish, it reduces fingerprints while looking shiny. At both ends, there are 3-inch diameter flanges made of type-304 stainless steel, herliarc welded firmly to the tubing. Each flange has three 7/32-inch diameter countersunk, predrilled holes for No. 10 self-tapping or oval head mounting screws (not included). The holes are placed every 120 degrees for a super-secure installation. Once mounted, the hardware is fully exposed. This grab bar meets or exceeds ADA requirements.
Using this grab bar is easy. First, find a suitable place to install it. Then, use the predrilled holes in the flanges to attach it with the appropriate screws (not included). Make sure to install it firmly. When using the grab bar, hold it firmly to keep your balance. As for maintenance, simply wipe it with a clean cloth regularly to keep the satin finish looking great. Avoid using abrasive cleaners that could damage the surface. Also, check the mounting screws from time to time to ensure they are still tight.
