The ASI 3701-12P is a high-quality straight grab bar. Measuring 1-1/4 inches in diameter and 12 inches long, it has a peened surface for a great grip. Made from 18-gauge stainless steel tubing with a satin finish, it not only looks good but also reduces fingerprints. The 3-1/8 inch diameter flanges at each end are made of 1/8 inch thick Type-304 stainless steel and are securely welded to the tubing. The snap-on flange covers, made of 22-gauge Type-304 stainless steel and 3-3/16 inches in diameter, snap over the flanges after installation, hiding the mounting hardware and protecting the bar from vandalism.
Using your ASI 3701-12P grab bar is easy. First, find a suitable location on a flat and sturdy surface where you need support. Then, follow the included instructions to mount the bar using the provided hardware. Once installed, simply grab the bar when you need stability or assistance. When it comes to maintenance, use a mild soap and water solution to clean the bar regularly. Avoid using abrasive cleaners as they can scratch the satin finish. Check the mounting hardware periodically to make sure it's tight and secure. If you notice any damage or loose parts, replace them right away to keep the grab bar safe to use.
