ASI 3701-42P (42 X 1.25) Commercial Grab Bar, 1-1/4 Diameter x 42 Length, Stainless Steel (Peened)

The ASI 3701 - 42P is a 42 - inch horizontal grab bar crafted from 18 - gauge type 304 stainless steel with a beautiful satin finish. This finish not only reduces fingerprints but also gives the bar an appealing shine. The bar has a peened surface for a better grip. It's surface - mounted and has an outside diameter of 1 - 1/4 inches. At each end, there's a 3 - 1/8 - inch diameter flange made of 1/8 - inch thick type 304 stainless steel, herliarc welded to the tubing. It comes with snap - on flange covers made of 22 - gauge type 304 stainless steel, measuring 3 - 3/16 inches in diameter. Once installed, these covers slide down and snap over the flanges, hiding the mounting hardware to prevent tampering and vandalism.

Using this grab bar is easy. Just hold onto it firmly when you need support, like getting in or out of the bathtub or using the toilet. When installing, make sure the surface is clean and dry. Check that the flange covers snap on tightly to keep the mounting hardware hidden. To maintain it, clean the bar regularly with a mild soap and water solution.
