The ASI 3801-48P is a 48-inch straight grab bar, perfect for commercial use. It's made of 18-gauge type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish. This finish not only reduces fingerprints but also gives the bar an appealing shine. The bar has a 1-1/2-inch outside diameter and is peened for a better grip. At each end, there's a 3-1/8-inch diameter flange, 1/8-inch thick, herliarc welded to the tubing. The grab bar comes with snap-on flange covers made of 22-gauge type 304 stainless steel, 3-3/16 inches in diameter. Once installed, these covers slide down and snap over the flange, hiding the mounting hardware and protecting against tampering and vandalism.

Using this grab bar is easy. Just hold onto it firmly for support when you need it, like getting in or out of the bathtub. When installing, make sure the surface is flat and clean. The snap-on flange covers are simple to attach - just slide them down over the flanges after the bar is in place. To keep your grab bar looking great, clean it regularly with a mild soap and water. Avoid using abrasive cleaners as they can scratch the satin finish. If you notice any damage or loose parts, check the mounting hardware and tighten if necessary.
