42-Inch Grab Bar

ASI Grab Bars are engineered to surpass ADAAG standards set in ICC/ANSI A117.1 - 2003 and CFR 28 Part 36. They can support a 250 - pound (113.4 kg) load, and when installed correctly, can hold over 1350 lbs (612.4 kg). Wall mounting is key, and the fastener system is sized to handle shear, tension, pull - out, and torsion loads.

The tubing is 18 - gauge and the flanges are 1/8" (3 mm) thick satin - finished type 304 stainless steel. The closure plate is also 1/8" (3 mm) thick. It's all - welded construction with three holes in each flange for rear mounting.

Using this grab bar is simple. Just mount it securely on the wall following the instructions. When using it, hold firmly and don't put sudden, excessive force on it. For maintenance, wipe it with a soft cloth regularly to keep it clean. Avoid using abrasive cleaners that might damage the satin finish. Make sure to check the fasteners periodically to ensure they remain tight and the bar is stable. If you notice any signs of wear or damage, stop using it immediately and contact the supplier.
