The Bobrick B-824 is an automatic, touch-free liquid soap dispenser that significantly reduces cross - contamination. It uses universal bulk liquid soaps, helping you save on costs. The top - fill design comes with a unique portion control feature, balancing patron satisfaction and your operating budget. It's available in a stylish chrome finish for a cohesive design. With a 34 oz. capacity, it stands 19.56' tall with a 6.75' spout and can be mounted on a lavatory. For new installations, ensure the mounting hole is 1 - 3/8” (35mm) in diameter. For existing setups, enlarge the hole if needed. The dispenser has a chrome - plated ABS plastic spout, a shatter - resistant polyethylene soap bottle, a plastic gear pump, and a water - resistant ABS plastic bottom housing. An electronic activation system uses fiber - optic cables. The battery pack holds 4 alkaline “D” cell batteries (not included). To fill, use the provided BobKey. Place your hand under the spout for about 1/2 second to activate and get an adjustable amount of soap (0.4 to 3 ml). It's designed for all - purpose hand soaps with a viscosity between 1cP to 19,000cP. Install it in counters up to 2' thick with a 1 - 3/8' diameter hole. The battery pack should be mounted nearby for easy access. Note that it's not compatible with certain sink rims, and the sink rim mustn't touch the activation area.














Using the Bobrick B - 824 soap dispenser is easy. To fill it, take the standard BobKey and insert it into the concealed locking mechanism in the spout assembly. This will open the lid for quick top - filling with bulk liquid hand soap. After filling, rotate the lid counter - clockwise to close and lock it. When you want some soap, just place your hand under the spout near the sensor for about half a second. You can adjust the amount of soap dispensed, ranging from about 0.4 to 3 ml. For installation, make sure your countertop is up to 2' thick and has a 1 - 3/8' diameter mounting hole. Mount the battery pack on the back or side wall close to the dispenser for easy battery replacement. Put 4 “D” cell high - quality batteries in the pack and plug it into the power port on the bottom housing. Remember, this dispenser isn't compatible with certain sink rims, so check the specifications. Also, ensure the sink rim doesn't touch the activation area to avoid false activation. For maintenance, use the Automatic System Flush Button to clean the system. And if you notice a red blinking LED, it means it's time to change the batteries.
