The ASI 3501-12 is a 12-inch straight grab bar with a 1-1/2-inch diameter and a smooth finish. It's made from 18-gauge stainless steel tubing with an appealing satin finish that resists fingerprints while still shining attractively. The 3-inch diameter flanges at both ends are made of type-304 stainless steel and securely welded to the tubing. Each flange has three 7/32-inch countersunk, predrilled holes (spaced about 120 degrees apart) for No. 10 self-tapping or oval head mounting screws (not included). After installation, the mounting hardware is fully exposed. This grab bar meets or exceeds ADA requirements.

Using this grab bar is easy. First, gather No. 10 self - tapping screws or oval head mounting screws (not included). Mark the positions for the holes on the wall according to the predrilled holes on the flanges. Drill holes in the wall and then attach the grab bar using the screws. When using the grab bar, make sure your hands are dry to prevent slipping. Avoid using excessive force on it. For maintenance, simply wipe it with a soft, damp cloth regularly to keep its satin finish looking good. If there are stubborn stains, you can use a mild stainless - steel cleaner.
