This turntable specimen pass box is made of 18-gauge Type 304 satin-finish stainless steel. The turntable cylinder has a 12-inch (305 mm) diameter and a 10 1/2 x 6-inch (270 x 150 mm) opening. Self-lubricating ball bearing plates on top and bottom allow the unit to rotate freely. Bullet catches prevent uncontrolled rotation. The entire inner assembly is encased in 1-inch (25 mm) wide trim. A cylinder lock enables the removal of the cylinder for sterilizing or autoclaving when needed. The trim is adjustable for walls up to 7 inches (180 mm) thick. The wall opening measures 13 1/4 x 14 inches (335 x 355 mm).

Using this turntable specimen pass box is easy. Simply place your specimens on the turntable. The two - sided access means you can load from one side and unload from the other. To keep it in good condition, clean the stainless - steel surface regularly with a mild cleaner. Avoid using abrasive materials that could scratch the satin finish. When it's time to sterilize, use the cylinder lock to remove the cylinder and place it in a sterilizer or autoclave. Make sure the wall where you install it is no thicker than 7 inches. If the unit rotates too freely, check the bullet catches and adjust them as needed.
